Why this site starts small
A publication does not need a platform before it has a practice. This first version keeps the machinery quiet and the writing in view.
TAIRA begins with a deliberately narrow promise: make it easy to write, publish, and keep the result fast.
The source stays readable. Notes remain ordinary Markdown files. Publishing is a frontmatter decision, not a move into a separate system. The public site is static HTML with a small layer of CSS.
There may eventually be reasons to add richer discovery, reader feedback, or other features. For now, the useful constraint is to let the body of work grow before the machinery around it does.
